Our flashing kits are designed to be used on all types of stoves for Bell Tents, Yurts and Tipis to safely exhaust all smoke to atmosphere. The silicone flashing kit can take temperatures of up to 300degC with a base size of 160mm with an adjustable hole 45mm to 85mm.
It does not have to be installed on the roof of the tent; it can be installed on the vertical side also. Once you know where you want to install the stove, make a mark with a pen on the canvas ready for installation.
Important Warning: Protect the Lifespan of Your Flashing Kit
To ensure the durability and longevity of your flashing kit, it is absolutely crucial not to over-fuel the stove. Overheating the kit due to excessive fuel will cause it to perish and deteriorate rapidly. Additionally, this can lead to the spark arrestor's inefficiency in handling the surplus unburnt hydrocarbons in the wood, ultimately leading to sparks landing on your canvas.
To safeguard your investment and prevent potential hazards, always use your stove responsibly and avoid over-fueling it. Taking these precautions will help maintain the quality of your flashing kit and ensure a safer and longer-lasting experience.
